Reload, from COLT Studio, makes the perfect Christmas gift: the cover is already red and white, so just slap a holly sticker on it and you're all set. It's what I plan on giving; the look on family members' faces will be priceless.

As their eyes linger over the sexy Tod Parker box cover (it's nice to see a gay man with hair longer than a quarter of an inch, and Parker's blond curls are way sexy), you can explain to them the historical significance of this film: it's John Rutherford's first directorial effort for COLT, after 14 years running Falcon Studios. He obviously made some good contacts at Falcon, since Reload has big-league hotties like Alex Lemonde, Marcus Iron, Lane Fuller, Chase Hunter, Rob Romoni, Ray Dragon, ebony muscle-god Adam Dexter, and Tod Parker and Dave Angelo,'s first appearances on film!

Rutherford is said to have gone through all the COLT archives when he took over the studio, and was surprised to find a lot more variety than the top-heavy muscle-guys we may associate with COLT of recent times. The key word to describe COLT's history really isn't "muscle", it's more like "natural." Natural and masculine guys in their natural environment, whether it be the forest, the beach, or the bathhouse.

Reload's first scene harkens back to some early, black-and-white footage from the Seventies, graudally fading into Alex Lemonde and Marcus Iron assuming the same positions. Iron is a little less built than he is in more recent days, but he looks great. He pays a lot of attention to Alex Lemonde's amazing cock in the scene, which is good because I would, too. I've always thought Alex Lemonde was one of those perfect human beings — face, body, dick — so there's no use dwelling on it. Suffice it to say Alex fucks Marcus and he stays fucked.

The old/new conceit is repeated in Scene Two, where Jake Gianelli, Tod Parker, and Trey Rexx take over where a black-and-white Tom of Finland drawing leaves off. These guys are all rock-hard muscle, and thankfully there's no storyline or dialogue to delay the action. Tod Parker is a little bruised and battered, obviously from work on a construction site or some such, and gets some oral relief from Trey Rexx. Meanwhile, Trey is getting a very juicy blowjob from Jake. This scene contains every combination of licking and sucking you could want, followed by the obligatory lucky Pierre sandwich. I won't say who takes what role; whether Tod Parker is a total top is a surprise you and Grandma will have to find out when you watch it together.

Meanwhile, newcomer Adam Dexter has obviously just come back from a very hot date, since he's hanging around his sun-soaked balcony and seems to be Reloaded. While oiling up to get some sun, he gets distracted by his considerable black meat and nut sack, and things just go from there. You'll linger over every inch of Dexter's body, kind of like the camera does, and enjoy the million-watt smile to go with it.

In the next scene, Ray Dragon is one of the few originals from those early black-and-white COLT days who actually Reloads. He hasn't changed a bit. In this poolside episode, Rob Romoni hungrily sucks Marcus Iron's fat one, as Dave Angelo works on Lane Fuller's. Romoni then sucks on Dragon, who proves that age is no impediment to getting rock hard. All this sun-soaked action gave me a warm feeling, perfect for making you forget about the bitter cold of winter and actually believe you're in tropical West Hollywood in the hot sun by the pool. The scene contains a slobber-worthy daisy-chain of sucking and licking; I could almost smell the chlorine and the Hawaiian Tropic, and it made me dizzy. (In a good way, like poppers). This all culminates in those now-famous underwater cumshots — a first in the history of porn!

Chase Hunter, in Seventies-era moustache, and Lane Fuller close out the film with some hardcore muscle-action, also outdoors, surrounded by palms and ferns. Lane looks like he could swallow a telephone pole, and in Hunter's case, that's just about what he has. Both guys have godlike bodies and skin that's just tan enough to look healthy, not too tan like they got fried by the pool at the White Party. Some kink is displayed as Hunter washes out Fuller's deliciously hairy ass with a handy garden hose; this creates a fountain that squirts many feet. Well, at least we all know Fuller is clean when Hunter fucks him. I like the older/younger guy dynamic, leading to the film's hottest pounding scene.

And if I haven't emphasized it, I also like Lane Fuller. Damn, that boy is hot! I hope he makes a lot more films for the new COLT.
